Extreme Weather and Climate Part I. Should be good :-)

I survived my first day at WIU.  At 9am I had Cartographic Design for GIS which I think I’m going to like.  The professor seems pretty nice.  He seems like he actually cares and as long as you do what you need to do you’ll get a good grade.  After that I had an hour break which I got to hang out with Ashley because she was between classes too!  Then I had Calculus I at 11.  The professor has an accent so at first I was like “oh great”, but it was pretty easy to get used to pretty fast so it shouldn’t be a problem.  Then we went over some review things from precalc which was really easy.  I hope the class goes just like that…I know it won’t, but I can hope right?  He changed the time of our class too which is weird, but it was only like 10 minutes and doesn’t really affect my schedule so it’s okay. All in all, it was a good day and I think the semester will be pretty good.  I also got an email from my Geography Stats professor and our first class is cancelled tomorrow so I don’t have class until 1 now instead of 9:30!  She gave us an assignment in the email though.  I hope that isn’t a preview into the future of that class haha.

If I figured everything out correctly then I will be on track to graduate with my B.S. Meteorology degree in December of 2014!!  I’m so excited to actually be on track toward an actual degree.  I’m so glad I turned everything around.  Things are still going to get rough since I used up my financial aid wasting my life away in my early college years, but I will find a way to get by and pay for it because it’s worth it!
